Third Floor Gallery is an independent charitable gallery run by photographers Joni Karanka, Maciej Dakowicz, Bartosz Nowicki and a group of committed volunteers.
The gallery has recently gained charity status from the Charity Commission of England and Wales (registration number 1139026).
Currently we are mainly funded by donations, to which you can contribute also online.
These allow us to keep the place open and pay the bills, plus bringing new and exciting work to Cardiff.
We are in the search for sponsorships and public funding to secure the permanence of the gallery.

Support us
There are different ways in which you or your organizations can help us to fulfill our goals.

Individuals
You can donate to us by via Charities Trust to claim Gift Aid, bank transfer, online or by post. If you have any enquiries

Donate via Charities Trust. If you are a UK taxpayer this is the most efficient way to donate, as
the Charities Trust claims Gift Aid in our behalf. By using Gift Aid an additional 28% is added to your donation
and if you are a higher rate taxpayer, some of your taxes are returned to you. Filling Gift Aid is as simple as
filling your address and then you can pay with any debit or credit card.

To donate by bank transfer you only need our bank account details, please email us to receive them.

To donate items that we need from our wish list. We constantly update a list with items
that we need to run the gallery (from cheap stuff like velcro tape to more expensive items like chairs or printers) on
Amazon. It is very easy to use, so you can simply pick an item that you wish to donate and pay for it with any
credit or debit card. The item will arrive in a couple of days at the gallery. Check it out:

You can also help us paying gas bills. To do so you can adopt one of the four radiators of Third Floor Gallery for £50 and become one of its two parents for a period of one year. The radiator of your choice will wear your name during the year, and on top of that you will get the occasional photograph and update on how he/she is doing. So far two of our radiators have been adopted and the remaing two are waiting for their first parents (
