25.08.2011 - we are auctioning a beautiful signed c-type print from the series "In the Face of Silence" by Christophe Agou. Christophe kindly donated the photograph at Rencontres d'Arles 2011 and Joni brought it all the way to Cardiff. The size of the paper is 17.5 x 13 inches (43x33cm), and the image size is 15.5 x 11 inches (38x27cm). The auction starts at the price of £99.99.

The photograph is part of the series "The Face of Silence" ("Face Au Silence"), in which Agou returns to the rural France in which he grew up in order to document a lifestyle that has been forgotten by most of us. The book of "The Face of Silence" won the European Publishers Award 2010, and has been published in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Greek.

03.08.2011 - We are auctioning Magnum photographer David Hurn's Canon EOS 3 film camera, donated to Third Floor Gallery for its first online ebay charity auction. By bidding on this item you don't only get a fully working professional camera that belonged to one of the most legendary British photographers but you also help the cause of the most exciting photography gallery in the UK.
This camera is auctioned as body only. It is in a good condition, with some scratches here and there. It comes with a certificate listing its exact number written by David Hurn and a new battery.
